Angela grew up in the country outside of Garden Plain, Kansas and is one of six children. She always knew she wanted a career where she could help people. She realized she had a great interest in athletics, anatomy, and physiology but also a love for working with children. She discovered this combination merged beautifully in occupational therapy.
Angela earned her Master of Occupational Therapy degree from Rockhurst University, in Kansas City. She then spent the next two years working in a hand therapy clinic and collaborating with hand surgeons on their clinic days. Angela has a certification in instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization and plans to sit for her Certified Hand Therapist exam. Her hobbies include sports, reading, working out, cross stitching, kayaking, hiking, and volunteering with Special Olympics. Her main focus is spending time with her husband and her daughter, Maria.
