Ashton grew up in Maize, KS, and went to Maize High School. He played a lot of sports as kid and into middle school, but by high school he started to focus on football. In addition to sports, Ashton enjoyed being involved in show choir and taking a lot of art classes.

Ashton went to college at Emporia State University, where he met my wonderful wife, Melissa, and played football for five years. After college he went to PT school at Wichita State and graduated in 2018. Melissa and Ashton have two very energetic dogs named Charlie and Sadie. In his free time, Ashton likes to spend time with his wife, hang out with family and friends, lift weights, discover new music, learn about history and science and other nerdy stuff through books, podcasts, and documentaries, and drink good beer and whiskey. When he gets the chance, he loves to head to the mountains to snowboard or hike.

Ashton loves being a physical therapist because it satisfies his desire to help and interact with people, his interest in science and hunger for knowledge, and his passion for physical activity and exercise.
