Orthopedics
The Orthopedics branch of physical therapy is focused on the problems of the muscular skeletal system.
Often these problems occur due to an injury. Whether your injury is the result of sports or simple overuse from everyday activities, physical therapy is essential to restore strength and mobility.
At Advanced Physical Therapy, we love working with orthopedic patients. Our therapists are very knowledgeable and work closely with the orthopedic physicians to ensure a safe recovery after surgery. They will combine stretching, strengthening, ice and heat therapy as well as ultrasound. All our therapists are trained in the treatment of post-operative orthopedic procedures, acute sports injuries, arthritis, sprains, strains, and fractures.
