Regional DirectorShane has worked in a variety of physical therapy settings before finding his home in the outpatient setting. He has had extensive manual therapy training and feels that combining it with therapeutic exercise is key in getting patients back in action. When not working he enjoys spending time with his wife and son, traveling with friends and family, and being a sports fanatic.

Robin wrote “Learning to Walk Again,” which was published in the trade journal Advance for Physical Therapists and PT Assistants.
“The environment at Advanced Physical Therapy in Hutchinson is relaxing and non-intimidating for the patients and their families. It is about forming a relationship with the patient by being honest, respectful, and listening to their concerns, which in turn helps the patient be successful and make progress toward their goals.”
Robin’s Hobbies include reading, shopping, KU basketball, baking, and spending time with her family.

TherapistJessie decided she wanted to be a physical therapist when she tore her ACL as a Sophomore in high school. She grew up in Hutchinson, KS and worked at the Hutchinson facility as a technician while working towards her bachelors’ degree. She is currently back in Hutchinson working as a full-time PT, treating both orthopedics and pelvic floor rehab. She enjoys forming relationships with her patients and watching them gain strength and function to improve their quality of life. When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and friends, watching movies, traveling, reading and spending time outside.

Occupational Therapist and Certified Hand TherapistEllie Katz earned her Bachelor of Arts in Occupational Therapy from Newman University.
Ellie specializes in upper extremity injuries with an emphasis in orthopedics. She is ASTYM certified and is most interested in treating fractures.
In her free time, Ellie enjoys traveling with her husband and son and golfing.

Clinic Director / Physical TherapistDr. Kailey Thach earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Wichita State University. Prior to that, Kailey obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Wichita State University.
Kailey is certified in ASTYM and dry needling – level 1 and specializes in vestibular rehab. She is most interested in treating post-op patients, orthopedic conditions and the geriatric population.
In her free time, Kailey enjoys spending time with her two daughters, exercising, and being outdoors and at the lake.

Zoe Oppriecht earned her master’s degree from Abilene Christian University. Prior to that, Zoe obtained her Bachelor of Science in Health Science, Pre-Occupational Therapy from Sterling College.
Zoe is most interested in treating pediatrics.
In her free time, Zoe enjoys kayaking, pickleball, and international travel.

Physical Therapist AssistantKyla decided she wanted to go into physical therapy as a career after receiving therapy in high school for a sports injury. She enjoyed the atmosphere of the office she attended therapy at, and decided to job shadow.
Kyla grew up in Macksville, Kansas, and attended Sterling College on a volleyball scholarship. She obtained a Bachelor degree in exercise science. After college, she worked as a wellness coordinator at a recreation commission, and then decided to go back to Hutchinson Community College for her physical therapist assistant degree.
She enjoys working with patients of all ages and backgrounds, but especially enjoys working with orthopedic patients and the geriatric population. The most rewarding part about her career is seeing her patients improve their quality of life and return to function.
Outside of the therapy gym, Kyla enjoys gardening, cooking, and spending time with her husband and her two sons, following them to all of their activities.
